Let's Have Fun With Pink Eyeshadow!

I love wearing pink on my lips but for a very long time, I shied away from using that color on my eyes. Recently I was sent some lovely eye shadow samples in different tones of pink and was encouraged to try them, so I sat down in front of my vanity mirror and went to town applying these lovely pink hues on a couple of my friends and my own peepers. The result? Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous!
At first I felt a little intimidated while staring at these different shades of pink. I thought, "Oh my gosh! Perfect eyeshadow beauty glazed 'll never pull off this hot pink", or "this pink is way too pale for my skin". Guess what? Even an old pro like me tends to forget that a color looks one way in its tray and completely different on your skin. It is important to give colors a chance and try them out on your own skin color before making a decision. Many experts may suggest that a cooler shade of pink would be better suited for lighter complexions, where as a pink hinting to a coral or peach color would look best on warmer complexions. In general, these rules of thumb hold true but in the case of this fun experiment I was wonderfully surprised to discover that a variety of shades looked great on the different skin tones I was testing.
It is safe to say that pink will generally look beautiful on those with fair skinned complexions. However, beauties with darker complexions can find a pink all their own to make their eyes pop.
Pink eye shadow can help you look awake and wide eyed after a long sleepless night. If you use it around the eyes, the whites of the eye will look whiter and brighter. Just be careful, too much pink applied to the bottom of the eye, may make you look ill, like you've been infected by the ebola virus! I like to add intensity to my rosey eye makeup by applying a darker shade of pink or another color that may compliment the pink I'm using, such as a brown and blend that color into the crease and outer corners of my eyelids.
The pink I had most fun with was a "Hot Pink". Again, Eyeshadow palette beauty glazed will look great in all pink tones including Hot Pink but I am olived skin and it looked great! I also tried it on a girlfriend who has a caramel complexion and it looked completely different on her but just as beautiful.
So girls, experiment before deciding if pink on your eye lids is for you or not. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Pink is not just for lips anymore! Have Eyeshadow palette beauty glazed .
